Thanks for submitting Salvager! This was a really fun and unique take on the jam’s theme, and it was a standout for sure.
We loved the gameplay. Using pixel destruction instead of standard damage was a fun twist that made every hit feel more impactful and satisfying to watch. It’s a small change on paper, but it gives the game a lot of its personality and helps it feel fresh.
The ship controls were another highlight. The ship moved like it actually had weight behind it, which made flying feel deliberate and rewarding to master. It didn’t feel like movement copied from another game, and that attention to feel really shows.
Overall, a fantastic entry with a strong identity and a lot of heart. Great work, and thanks for being part of the jam!
Hey, I also participated in that publisher's Game Jam. If like us you are not entirely satisfied on how confusing things went about that jam I invite you to submit your game to the Salvage the Jam so we can have a safe place where we can all showcase, play, and feedback our games!
Go check it out :)
